Outreach
SEALNet Project Brunei 2019 was founded on the basis of wanting to help the community. Here is what outreach services we have done so far:
Anthony Abell College (AAC)
July and November 2019
AAC is a secondary school located in the Belait district of Brunei Darussalam. As part of our service week in July, the team has conducted a Structured Learning Experience (SLE). Whereby, through activities and workshops that the team and partnering NGOs have conducted, hopes to expose and increase the employability of the students.

In November, as part of our sustainability phase, we have conducted a follow-up mini workshop series to ensure the impact done from the recent pilot-workshop in early July is still intact among the students.
Pusat Pembangunan Belia (PPB)
July 2019
PPB is a vocational school located in the Brunei and Muara district of Brunei Darussalam. As part of our service week in July, the team has conducted a Structured Learning Experience (SLE). Whereby, through activities and workshops that the team and partnering NGOs have conducted, hopes to expose and increase the employability of the students.
General Leadership Day (GLD)

General Leadership Day (GLD) 1
SEPTEMBER 2019
With our partnership with UBD's Volunteering and Charity Club (UVC), GLD 1 was conducted in the Central Lecture Theaters (CLT) and the Inspiring Hall at UBD. GLD 1 was conducted to promote effective leadership skills and familiarity with UVC's committee as they will work alongside PB19's sustainability team in the next few phases.
GENERAL LEADERSHIP DAY (GLD) 3
DECEMBER 2019
Though GLD 3 is similar in most cases to the first GLD session, for GLD3, the team sought to students bodies and clubs such as FOSSB UBD, SBESC UBD, and Kelab Pemimpinan Muda (KPM) UNISSA, for a collective collaboration that would aid the PB19 team in terms of business management, Team Bond and further expose SEALNet and PB19 to other educational institutions other than UBD.

SEALNet Project Brunei 2019 is always active and partake in various activities across Brunei. Here are activities or events we have either conducted or joined in Brunei:
Brunei Young Leadership Convention (BYLC) 2019
As part of our return to Brunei from a 5 year absence since 2014, the team was invited to be one of the exhibitors in BYLC.
We had the opportunity to meet and interact with youth of different ages, and share the goals and ideas behind Project Brunei 2019. We also had the opportunity to talk to the Minister of Youth, Youth, Culture and Sports himself during last day.
Day of Action - Humans of Brunei 2019
Humans of Brunei is a signature SEALNet Project Brunei Youth RISE activity. The movement is centered around themes such as Active Volunteerism, Service Leadership and Design Thinking.
The activity focuses on raising awareness of unaddressed community issues in Brunei by exposing our volunteers and having them interact with people in the general public. This allows the volunteers to emphatically understanding the grass-root problems and guide them into initiating an effective community project.

For Humans of Brunei 2019, the team did conducted it in BandarKuCeria and KBKuCeria, with a total amount of 34 participants. This was in conjunction with Brunei's Day of Action 2019.
